A News feed (web feed or RSS) is a data format used for providing users with updated content. Content distributors syndicate a web feed, allowing users to subscribe to it, through an orange or blue button on their site.
We've collected several interesting feeds and put them under the following general categories:
- GIS: Software and Hardware
- Indigenous Action!
- Media
- Organizations
- Cartography
- Other Cool Map Info
- Education
Indigenous Mapping Network has 3 syndicated (RSS) feed options.
By clicking on the feed button inside the URL box, a link with updates will be added to your browser bookmark.
Our 3 options provide general, news, and conference feeds:
- General Updates: On the home page. You can click on either the top blue square button or the orange one at the bottom left of the page
- News Updates: You must first click on the top right side "News" link before clicking on the blue button inside the url box
- Conference Updates: First clink on the top right side "IMN Conference 09" before clicking on the blue button inside the url box
Please let us know if you have any questions or suggestions. Enjoy!
